Auditions were a success!

On October 24th, we held auditions for "Slowly, Quickly". 11 actresses read for the part of Gina. At the close of the day, I had already narrowed it down to three -- all of whom brought their own unique take on the character.

It was the first time hearing the script read out loud and it was great to see the two characters brought to life. During the readings, we discovered many opportunities to revisit the script, focus on the connection of this young couple, and further develop the arc in their relationship.

We will be making our final decision in the next few days and will immediately schedule rehearsals, as this will play a crucial role in the development of the film. I believe that everyone involved will be able to bring their own expertise to the table and collaboratively make the best film we possibly can.
